- Daria La Rocca received the bachelor’s degree in clinical engineering from the University of Rome Sapienza, in 2008, the master’s (cum laude) degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Rome Sapienza, with a thesis on brain–computer interface, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in bio-medical, electromagnetism and telecommunication engineering with European Doctorate Label from Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy, in 2015.
- She was the winner of the European Biometrics Research Award 2015. In 2008, she was a trainee with the Neuroeletrical Imaging and Brain Computer Interface Laboratory, IRCCS “Fondazione S.Lucia”, Rome. In 2008, she collaborated with the aforementioned laboratory on the application of high resolution EEG techniques and multivariate models for the brain connectivity estimation in healthy and patient subjects..
- She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with Neurospin-CEA Saclay,France, within the CEA enhanced euro talent program. Her interests are in the field of neuroscience and biometrics. She received the prize for the Best Degree Theses on Disability by the University of Rome Sapienza in 2012.
