Personal information

  • Rig Das is a PhD Student with "Biometric Systems and Multimedia Forensics" Lab of the "Roma Tre University", Rome, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Patrizio Campisi from 2014. His current research area is EEG based Biometrics and EEG signal processing.
  • Rig received his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from "West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT)", Kolkata, India in 2007 and Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from "North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST)", Itanagar, India in 2012.
  • From December 2007 to July 2010 he worked for "Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd." as a Programmer Analyst of Mainframe systems, having AXA-Belgium Insurance Company as a client. He also worked as an Assistant Professor of "Don Bosco University", Azara, India in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from 2012 to 2013.
  • His other research interests are Biometrics, Image and Video Processing, Steganography and Steganalysis, Signal Processing, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning.
